Ultralight is the next generation of insulation by Warmup featuring 4-in-1 benefits to retain radiant heat better, spread warmth more quickly, reduce noise and protect tiled floor finishes. Its lightweight but durable design means it is 28% larger whilst weighing less than half the weight of other insulation boards, meaning you can cover a 15 /m2 room with Ultralight in one trip, rather than three trips with standard boards. Ultralight can also be easily cut to requirements with no risk of dust and unlike cement-coated boards, has much greater flexibility. It has been engineered with a four-layer construction method with an aluminium heat spreading layer and decoupling attributes for increased performance. Ultralight also features soundproofing qualities; its acoustic performance is comparable to dedicated acoustic products without compromising on its insulating, heat spreading or decoupling performance. Ultralight maximises the energy-efficiency of underfloor heating with 50% more even heating and 30% faster heat up times than standard insulation boards.
