The Worcester plate heat exchanger is a commercial boiler accessory for high-output cascade systems. It is matched to GB162 installations rated 521–640kW and GB312/402 installations rated 501–600kW. Heat passes between the boiler circuit and secondary heating circuit without direct mixing of the system water. The unit therefore provides hydraulic separation where these high-output boiler configurations require a plate heat exchanger.
