Rubaflex Class O nitrile pipe insulation slit is engineered from a durable elastomeric foam, designed specifically for easy installation and retrofit purposes. Coated with a black polymeric surface, this insulation is ideal for outdoor applications, offering enhanced toughness, UV stability, and waterproofing capabilities. It is particularly well-suited for outdoor pipes, refrigeration systems, air conditioning unit pipes, ducting, and civil and industrial heating and plumbing systems. The slit design allows for effortless installation, making it perfect for both new and existing piping systems. Rubaflex insulation is also highly effective for frost protection in outdoor environments and meets the stringent standards of EN 14304 as well as UK Class 0 building regulations. Available in various thicknesses, from 6mm to 32mm, each 2m length of Rubaflex pipe insulation is pre-slit for convenience. Capable of performing in temperatures ranging from -45° to +110°, this pipe insulation ensures optimal thermal efficiency, delivering a thermal conductivity of 0.036 W/mK at a mean temperature of 0°.
